Vintage Glass Cruet Bottle With Stopper – Pink Tinged Glass – Hand Blown. Condition is “Used”.
This vintage glass cruet/oil bottle with stopper likes to play with your eyes. It is pink tinged glass but, in bright light, it looks almost crystal clear. It has what we like to call a “designer dress” design where in the old days, the dress was skinny at the waist and flared out in fashionable design from the hips to the floor. It is thick glass and sturdy made. You can actually feel the mark on the bottom where the glass was connected to the blowing tube (or whatever it is called). The cruet has no cracks, chips or flea bites. Though it has been washed, we suggest washing it your way. The stopper is also in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or flea bites. It does have a “bubble divet” on one of the faceted sides (see last photo) that was made when this stopper was created. This really is a lovely cruet. The pink tinged glass would make a nice piece for a bottle collector.
